HOLDING NAD INSTITUTIONS ACCOUNTABLE ON LGBTQ ISSUES

LGBTQ Institutional Issues: The evidence is public, extensive, and cannot be dismissed. For years, Seventh-day Adventist institutions in the NAD have openly supported or permitted LGBTQ-affirming practices that conflict with the Church’s biblical and voted standards. These matters do not remain within conference boundaries. They affect our members, families, youth, guests, Bible-study interests, churches, schools, colleges, universities and the Church’s public witness across the NAD — bringing confusion, discouragement, and real spiritual pain.

A Local Church Takes Action: The Coloma SDA Church in Michigan is seeking accountability through the Church’s own representative structure. On August 23, 2026, it submitted a formal request to the Michigan Conference Executive Committee, asking the Conference to carry that request forward to the NAD Executive Committee for formal consideration and committee action. Read the submission. Examine the evidence. Decide whether continued inaction is acceptable.
